Anaphylaxis
Call for help. Lie patient flat. Elevate legs
Anaphylaxis can present with any combination of the ABCDE symptoms, so recognising it can be difficult.
However, anaphylaxis is likely when these three are present:
Sudden onset and rapid progression
Severe Airway, Breathing or Circulation symptoms
Skin changes
As soon as you think someone is having an anaphylaxis attack, call for help. Anaphylaxis becomes serious and fatal very fast so get help immediately.
Lie the patient down
Elevate their legs as long as this does not affect their breathing
